Position Description:
A New York based law firm is seeking a Fiduciary Administrator to handle all legal and administrative aspects of estate and trust administration. This position will involve communicating with clients as well as drafting correspondence and documents. The person in this role will be responsible for the preparation of probate papers and NYS tax returns, the coordination of distributions to beneficiaries, and the assembly of work papers for individual tax returns. The Fiduciary Administrator will also be tasked with arranging for appraisals of assets and establish estate accounts as needed.

Required Skills:
The firm is seeking an individual with at least eight years of related experience and knowledge of tax forms 706, 709, and 1041. This person should be familiar with Surrogate’s Court procedures and software programs such as Hot Docs, ProSystem, Omega, or OneSource. In addition, this person should be detail-oriented, a team player, and adaptable to changing demands.

Annual Salary (US$): 125,000-150,000 /annual
Required Education: Bachelors
