Position Description:
A highly established law firm is seeking a Director of Revenue to be based in New York City or Boston, with responsibility for overseeing the firm’s billing and collections teams. This leadership role involves directing the daily operations of the department, implementing departmental policies, training new hires, and conducting performance reviews. The Director will resolve any issues that arise, generate reports, and advise attorneys on bill rate structures, rate maintenance, and outside counsel guidelines. This person will also be entrusted with evaluating and improving processes, implementing or upgrading technology, and overseeing matter maintenance and intake.
Required Skills:
To qualify for this role, an individual should have at least eight years of legal billing and/or collections experience, including three or more years of experience in a supervisory capacity. This person will demonstrate exceptional communication, project management, and analytical thinking skills, as well as the ability to lead by example and mentor others. The Director must have outstanding proficiency in Excel and a legal billing platform such as Aderant or Elite.
Annual Salary (US$): 200,000-215,000 /annual
