Position Description:
An exceptional law firm is seeking an Operations & Events Specialist to oversee conference services and catering operations for internal meetings and office events. This position involves coordinating services with vendors, negotiating costs, and managing contracts for events. This person will be responsible for establishing departmental procedures, identifying ways to enhance offerings, and tracking invoices. The individual will also be tasked with developing menus, reserving spaces, and coordinating other facets of internal events.
Position Requirements:
The qualified candidate will have at least six years of conference services experience in a professional services or corporate hospitality environment. This individual must demonstrate strong negotiation, client service, and communication skills, as well as keen attention to detail and a proactive work ethic.
