Position Description:
A global law firm is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager to advise attorneys within the Private Capital practice on strategic marketing and growth opportunities. This position will involve overseeing the pitch and proposal process, managing client targeting initiatives, and creating individual and practice-specific business plans. This person will be responsible for drafting and disseminating marketing collateral, facilitating cross-selling, and supporting lateral partner integration, in addition to identifying opportunities for thought leadership and article placement. The Senior BD Manager will also be tasked with training and mentoring other team members in addition to analyzing competitor activities and emerging legal trends.
Required Skills:
The firm seeks a business development professional with a bachelor’s degree and at least six years of related experience, including prior exposure to a Private Capital practice. This person will demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills, as well as commitments to professional growth and collaboration. The Senior BD Manager must be able to effectively prioritize competing assignments while working closely with Partners in a fast-paced setting. This individual should also be proficient with CapitalIQ, PitchBook, Preqin, and Bloomberg.
Annual Salary (US$): 190,000-230,000 /annual
