Position Description:
A highly successful law firm seeks a Controller to support the COO with the management of the firm’s accounting and financial planning operations. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all facets of accounts payable and receivable, banking relationships, general ledger accounting, annual reporting, tax functions, and cash flow analysis, in addition to forecasting and profitability. This role will also involve ensuring compliance with state and federal accounting regulations, developing new processes and procedures, and performing reconciliations and variance analysis.
Position Requirements:
The qualified applicant will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance coupled with 8+ years of related experience. The team seeks a detail-oriented professional with highly effective organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills. The Controller must be able to think strategically and analytically, establish rapport with attorneys and staff, and be flexible to work overtime as needed to meet the demands of the position.
