Position Description:
A law firm in Connecticut seeks a Chief Financial Officer to direct all accounting operations and who will build, mentor, and develop the team in a collaborative work environment. The Chief Financial Officer will report to the Management Committee and manage several direct reports. This position will involve overseeing firm-wide treasury functions, managing the firm’s external audit and tax return preparations, and ensuring the firm’s financial systems are secure, maintained, and enhanced as needed. In addition, the Chief Financial officer will develop and manage the preparation of financial analyses and reports on profitability.

Required Skills:
The qualified candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (CPA preferred) with a minimum of 10 years of finance experience in a law firm environment. The individual must have a proven track record of leading initiatives, managing projects, and implementing process improvements. The Chief Financial Officer must be a strategic thinker with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple interests in a demanding environment. The candidate should also have excellent management, communication, and organization skills as well as strong software proficiencies, including Aderant and PowerBI.

Annual Salary (US$): 200,000-225,000 /annual
