Position Description:
A phenomenal law firm is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead the firm’s financial operations while managing, motivating, and evaluating a staff of 10 employees. This position will involve providing strategic financial guidance to the Partnership, delivering regular updates regarding the firm’s financial health, and establishing effective internal controls. The CFO will be responsible for implementing procedural enhancements while ensuring compliance with accepted accounting principles, overseeing treasury functions, and maintaining banking relationships. This role will also support the preparation of financial analyses and budgets as well as the management of the firm’s financial systems.
Position Requirements:
The appropriate candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related discipline and 10 or more years of experience in a law firm environment. This person should have a proven track record of leading initiatives, managing projects, and implementing personnel and process improvements in a highly collaborative organization. The CFO must also be a strategic thinker with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple interests.
