Position Description:
The New York office of a growing, international law firm is seeking a Business Development & Communications Manager to spearhead marketing efforts and enhance the firm’s profile and visibility. This position will involve supporting attorneys with the creation of business development plans, drafting responses to RFPs and pitches, and preparing branded collateral. This person will be responsible for drafting directory and award submissions, coordinating thought leadership opportunities, and planning a variety of meetings, events, and client engagement activities. The Manager will also be tasked with implementing best practices and serving as a marketing subject matter expert for attorneys and staff.
Required Skills:
The firm seeks a legal marketing professional with a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience. This person should demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and client service skills, as well as a proactive and confident approach to business development. This person should be able to prioritize and manage their workload while suggesting new ideas and process enhancements. Experience with legal marketing platforms such as InterAction and Vuture is preferred.
Annual Salary (US$): 150,000-200,000 /annual
