Position Description:
A multi-office law firm seeks a Revenue Manager to oversee a team of 10 through the firm’s billing, collections, and pricing functions. This person will be responsible for overseeing new client and new matter intake processes as well as communicating with the attorneys regarding the firm’s billing policies and monthly schedules. The Revenue Manager will monitor work in progress, ensure the timekeepers submit their time entries, and oversee the timely and accurate preparation of client bills. This person will also monitor the status of unbilled time and accounts receivable, report any related issues to management, and generate revenue forecasts.
Position Requirements:
The firm seeks a client accounting professional with at least eight years of related experience and excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. This person must be able to supervise, mentor, and motivate a team, prioritize responsibilities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. The Revenue Manager should also have advanced proficiency in Excel and a legal billing system such as Elite or Aderant.
