Position Description:
A fast-paced New York City law firm seeks a Controller to lead the accounting team. This position will oversee all accounting operations, manage the firm’s financial reporting, and ensure compliance with applicable tax and regulatory requirements. The Controller will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely financial statements, supervising and managing accounting staff, and assisting the Executive Director in developing the firm’s annual operating budget.
Required Skills:
The firm seeks a detail-oriented and organized professional with a bachelor’s degree and at least seven years of experience in progressive accounting. This person will demonstrate the ability to manage multiple priorities, have excellent communication skills, and be familiar with payroll systems and Elite 3E.
Annual Salary (US$): 200-250K /annual
