Position Description:

A New York based law firm is seeking a Word Processing Manager to oversee a team in the preparation and review of complex legal documents, including using styles and advanced functions, while ensuring the timeliness and accuracy of completed work. The WP Manager will be tasked with troubleshooting, repairing, and converting electronic files, generating lists and reports, and interacting regularly with Partners and other attorneys. This position will also involve generating TOA and TOC, combining tracked changes, transcribing audio into text, converting between file formats, and adding images, texts, and comments to documents.

Position Requirements:

This position requires 5+ years of WP experience within a law firm setting, including prior experience in a supervisory capacity. This person must have excellent document production skills, including an eye for grammar, spelling, and punctuation. The WP Manager must be able to work independently while delegating work, with a high degree of confidentiality, personal accountability, and accuracy. This position requires working on-site on a hybrid basis.
