Position Description:
A terrific law firm seeks a Bankruptcy Paralegal to join their New York team. This role will involve supporting attorneys with all facets of bankruptcy proceedings, including e-filing pleadings with the Courts as well as conducting document review and editing. This person will be tasked with working with clients to obtain information for new case filings and assisting attorneys with preparation for hearings. The Bankruptcy Paralegal will also be responsible for tracking ongoing departmental matters, upcoming deadlines, and filing credentials.
Required Skills:
This role requires an individual with 2+ years of experience working within a Litigation or Financial Restructuring Practice. The candidate must have outstanding Microsoft Office Suite skills and familiarity with ECF filings, as well as the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes. The firm is also seeking someone with a proactive work ethic as well as strong communication, project management, and critical thinking skills.
Annual Salary (US$): 100,000-125,000 /annual
