Position Description:
A collaborative law firm seeks a Legal Recruiting Manager to play a leadership role within the New York office. This role will involve planning and executing the firm’s Fall Recruiting and Summer Associate Programs, including managing relationships with law schools, planning summer events, and gathering feedback after the program’s completion. The Recruiting Manager will be responsible for working with search firms on lateral associate hiring efforts as well as supporting onboarding and integration processes. This person will also be responsible for implementing effective recruitment strategies, advising on best practices, and implementing changes to enhance future outcomes as needed.
Position Requirements:
This position requires a bachelor’s degree and at least five years of legal recruiting experience. The qualified applicant will have excellent interpersonal, project management, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work independently and with integrity. The firm also seeks an individual who is proficient in NALP Best Practices and has existing relationships with local law schools.
